Winter Detox Apple – Ginger Smoothie For Strengthening Of Immunity
In today’s article we are going to present you a recipe for delicious smoothie that will cleanse your body from accumulated waste and toxins, and in same time this mixture is great for strengthening immunity.
For the preparation of this refreshing detox elixir you will need apple, carrots, ginger, Chia seeds, lemon juice, mint leaves and cinnamon.
Here is the recipe:
- 1 apple (sliced into quarters)
- 2 carrots (scrubbed and peeled, cut into chunks)
- 1 chunk of fresh peeled ginger (about the size of the thumb)
- ½ a lemon (the juice from it)
- 2 teaspoons Chia seeds
- A handful of mint leaves
- ½ teaspoon grounded cinnamon
- 1 cup of water
Method of preparation:
Put the needed ingredients (except the Chia seeds) in a blender or a food processor and blend on high speed until you get a paste with smooth texture. Add the Chia seeds at the end and blend for a few seconds. Add more water if desired and serve immediately. Enjoy!
