How to Remove Burnt Food from Pots
Probably many of you have a pot, pan, cookie sheet or some other bakeware that has burnt food and you intend to throw it away. Well, our advice is to try this simple procedure and remove the burned food from the bottom of your pot or pan.
One of the quickest and easiest ways for removing the burned food from the pot is to pour some vinegar and place it on medium heat. This simple method is quite efficient and after a while, the burnt food will start coming off. All you should do is to scrub the bottom of the pot and that’s it!
However, if you have a really stubborn burned food on your pot, you definitely should try this mixture. Mix equal amounts of cream of tartar and baking soda and add few drops of dish soap. Pour the mixture in the pot and then add some hot water. In order to remove the burned food, you should add enough water to make a runny paste that will cover all burned areas in the pot. Leave the mixture to act for several minutes and then scrub the bottom of the pot. You can use Brillo pad or any other scrub brush.
This mixture will help you to cleanse the burned food and it will make the pot clean and shiny.
Note: if you are cleaning top of a muffin tin or the sides of the pot, simply prepare a thicker paste and leave it sit on the burnt areas.
This simple trick will save the pot and you will save money. Isn’t that great?
